Katherine Baqleh is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD). She graduated from a Bachelor of Medical Science followed by a Master of Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Sydney. Working with the doctors and allied health team at Blacktown Family Medical Centre, she strives to help individuals with improving and optimising their health through making dietary and lifestyle adjustments with the ultimate goal of long term good health. Many individuals find knowing what to eat difficult, however it does not have to be that way. Katherine is experienced in areas such as obesity, diabetes, cardiovacular health, poor growth, gastrointestinal disorders, PCOS, vitamin and mineral deficiencies and can help you to find a balance with eating well and still enjoying your favourite foods. She also speaks Arabic and has a particular keen interest in weight management, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease.
What to expect at the first consultation
The dietitian will:
- Assess your heallth, eating patterns and lifestyle
- Discuss your goals
- Help you devise a plan to achieve these goals
At Subsequent Review Consultations
The dietitian will discuss your progress, any challenges which have arisen and keep you focused on continuing to improve your health and reach your goals.
